But I don't understand what is the need to delete the list of the recent apps? the list of the recent apps does not mean they are opened in the background, rather it just gives us the list of the apps which we have used since the start up of our device. If you really want to look at the apps running in the background, go to settingsappsRunning, where it also shows how much RAM is consumed and the amount of RAM that is free. Re: [Mobile.AI] Nexus 6 mobile phone
Hi, Learning to type totally depends on your practice and dedication. One opinion from my personal experience: Even if you have somewhat eyesight left, Better preserve it for watching photos or videos. If you are using it with a screen reader such as talkback then start using it without looking at it. Believe me, It is possible to use android at all places including parties without any issues at all. Only if you carry headphones with yourself. I can even use it while walking with my white cane. Will say it again, Screen readers are best learnt when you don't use your eyesight. Re: [Mobile.AI] Dismissing Recent Apps
Hi, I have listened to a podcast based on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 where the demonstrator stated that by pressing the Back button, you don't exit apps, instead they keep running in the background, and have to be manually closed through Recent Apps. Also, the two fingers swipe method is excellent, significantly increases my speed in dismissing apps! If you really want to look at the apps running in the background, go to settingsappsRunning, where it also shows how much RAM is consumed and the amount of RAM that is free. Re: [Mobile.AI] Nexus 6 mobile phone
Hi, But be informed, that people (including me) are suggesting an inexpensive phone to start with so that you get a hang of touch screen and Android. Once you get comfortable, get the Necsus 6 or any high end device of your choice, preferably running touchwiz or stock Android (for optimum accessibility). Go for any Android phone to begin with, because now that I think of it, there is a great different in price of Android One vs Moto G second gen, while not much difference in performance. I had picked up the Moto G second gen, but don't regret the choice either, its a nice phone, currently I can call myself a pretty basic user, and it serves me very well. typing is the same in both phones as both run the stock android so no problems in that moto g features are good for gaming also it has 2 frunt speakers so if u listen to music then it will give sterio sound more then that i dont find any features u could go for the spice dream uno it has a nice loud speaker and nice build i found the moto g to be a bit curved so it will be little hard to handel at the starting On 11/6/14, Archana Bhatia archana...@gmail.com wrote: In this group some are using Spice Dream Uno and some Moto G. Subject: Re: [Mobile.AI] Nexus 6 mobile phone Hey Archana, moto g 2014 edition will cost u around 13,000 rupees. There is a difference between stock android and other android, stock android is pure google android version with out any modification by the manufacturer, while other android may have some modification as per the manufacturer to suit the handset. LTE stands for long term evolution, its 4G internet service used for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals. It will give u high speed data services and enhanced voice and data call quality. Yes typing is a big problem on android touchscreen phone. Even after a good practice you can not type fast and also can not type with one hand. You will not be able to use this touchscreen effectively at crowded places. These are cautions while entering into touchscreen world which you must have the knowledge of. If u don't have to do much with the screen size, don't purchase bigger screen phone as you would have difficulty in holding the set with one hand. Re: [Mobile.AI] Spice Dream Uno or Moto G which one is best?
yes the only difference is its gpu but still spice scores more frams per second in ntudu benchmark On 11/6/14, Ajay Minocha ajayminoc...@gmail.com wrote: Hello, There is not much difference between both of them if compared from a visually impaired user's perspective. Therefore, for you spice should be best. Note: an advice from a moto g user. Got the feedback both are 100% accessible. Tell me in which one typing is more easy. There is a difference of 5k in the cost of both. Is Moto G having features? So those who are using it please respond as their feedback would be an honest one.
