Re: [Mobile.AI] about google keyboard
hi all android users! now your wait is over! i mean for some of us! as u must be knowing if your phone doesnt come with google keyboard or if it comes with google keyboard then sometimes u may not get a option in the play store to update it now you can force update it using this trick! so hear it is! Since i got my android1 i sometimes got the option to update google keyboard, and some times i didnt get These programs can be downloaded manually in 2 ways. 1. Using the browser on a desc top computer. First of all you need to sign in to the account your phone is assosiated. You can do this from gmail, youtube etc. Then you go to google.com, not play.google.com and you type either google keyboard etc. The first result should be the page from google play. If you go there it will say that the program is installed. You press space where it says installed and then the install a app dialog comes up on your computer just click on the install butten note u can navigate this dialog by pressing tab and not with arow keys. 2. Update using the phone. If you go to the play stoar from your phone you press the navigation draw on the top and you choose my apps. Then you can see which programs need updating but google keyboard and some others never show up. At the moment you are focused on the installed tab. If you go to the all tab you will see a long list of programs that are currently installed on your phone, as well as the programs that you previously installed, even if you removed them from the phone. For easier manangement of the list you can remove the apps that are not installed. Now if you have a look at the apps one by one most of them they will say installed. For example google text to speetch installed. When you land on google keyboard it will say update. If you double tab there, you will see the description and what's new for the app etc and the option to update. It is like installing an app for the first time. You have to review the permitions etc. I don't know why the prossess is different for these particular apps. [Mobile.AI] the KNFB reader is phenominal
Hi, I bought the app and tested on a variety of material today like letters, bills, food packedts etc. I have to say, it is phenominal. It is definitely worth its price. The speed and accuracy of recognition is mind boggling and not comparable to any other OCR. I had planned to share this app with my wife who has a iPhone 4s. This is possible provided she upgrades to iOS 8.1. then we both can use this app in the cost of one, in fact it can be shared with up to 6 family members. But it is not advisable to upgrade to iOS 8.1 yet due to small accessibility issues. Best, Prashant -- next part -- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [Mobile.AI] Iphone IOS 8.1: Upgradation nightmares
Dear friends, I had recently upgraded my Iphone 5s to IOS 8.1.Now after the upgradation, I am finding that: 1. it has stopped announcing the name of caller during an incoming call. I can touch the screen to check the name of the caller, but earlier it was done in an automatic manner. Any solutions.? 2. Prior to upgradation, When we make a phone call and bring the phone close to our ear, then it switches to internal speaker and when the phone is taken away from our ear, its loud speaker gets activated. However after upgradation, many a times when the phone is close to our ear and we expect that its internal speaker should be activated I find that suddenly its loud speaker gets activated. This is happening randomly. Sometimes it happens during making a phone call and sometimes it happens in the middle of a conversation. Any solutions? hay, in order to make the caller id announce automatically speake notifications should be switched on under accessibility settings voice over. well your second problem is due to proximity sencer. however, i am not facing any such issue in my iphone 5s. well resetting your phone to default may resolve the issue. also note that if you updated using the OTA method, please restore using the itunes. regards harbhajan On 15-Nov-2014, at 9:11 am, Singhal, Vivek (सिंघल, विवेक) singha...@indianoil.in wrote: Dear friends, I had recently upgraded my Iphone 5s to IOS 8.1.Now after the upgradation, I am finding that: 1. it has stopped announcing the name of caller during an incoming call.
