Hi, KNFB Reader for Android - no official news yet. Rumours are around that it will be unveiled at the NFB convention going on right now (or did it conclude alread?y). There is no other credible source talking about this. Someone else was telling me that KNFB Reader for Android is under development and has been made into a working app, but is only available in-house, not publicly released yet. Thanks. Hi, Actually, I just read that the KNFB Reader for Android app was demonstrated on an Android phone at the NFB Convention. I expect the Beta to be available for those who have contacted the developers to be a Beta tester for the app. The I OS app costs a hundred dollars, so, let us see what price is it released at for Android. You need to perform OCR to read these pdf books. And adobe and jaws can read only english file because they have only english OCR software.. Hi, Suresh, Previously, I too had disabled Whatsapp's auto-update since I had received news about the accessibility problems in newer Whatsapp versions in compensation for the labelled buttons. However, now Whatsapp has mandated updating Whatsapp to the latest version after certain time periods and I myself had received a notification message saying that Whatsapp would expire in five days, and to continue usage I needed to update Whatsapp to the latest version. This is unfortunate, however, I think I am managing reasonably well even with the latest version. Thanks. Anyways, the issue you describe has no resolution. Whatsapp's latest version has this curious bug and none has resolved it to the best of mine and Eyes Free list's knowledge. The only resolution you have is to downgrade to an earlier version, which also implies that you will lose labels of many buttons. You have to compromise on something - either endure this bug or give up all these labelled buttons by downgradation. Thanks.
