 Hi sir,

As Austin wrote, specifications in all three models from Micromax,
 Carbon
and Spice are the same only design differs and that's where Micromax
 perhaps

has some upper edge and that's why their phone is slightly more costly
 than

the other two (6299, 6399 and 6499). I've personally picked Micromax
 and
 finding it good.

What are their configurations, like RAM and internal storage etc.?

Re: [Mobile.AI] my experience with android

2013-10-22 Thread Purushottam Lodhaniya
Thanks for your sharing.
Friends, I have few questions:
is there any accessible music player for xolo q700?
I am in need of good keyboard, I have heard that google keyboard is
more user friendly.
Can we use that with said phone?
How to forward whats app message?
I am getting difficulty in open lock screen. Earlier it was only 1
option to open the lock by using 2 fingers but now I am getting 2 3
vijids.
And is there any way to find out contacts easily?
Thanks.

[Mobile.AI] granularity and other small issues with xolo q700 after updating talks

2013-10-13 Thread Purushottam Lodhaniya
Friends since yesterday granularity doesn’t work in my xolo q700.
I updated my talks first time. Does it happen because of this?
My keyboard is also behaving strangely, all positions of keys have
changed itself.
Earlier it was situated like qwerty keyboard, but now everything has changed.
Any solution please?
Click sound also not there in newest talkback.
I am also getting difficulty in managing call laug.
I have installed dw contact, it works fine, but not able to use dw
dialer in a proper way.
Please help me to solve my problems.

 Friends,

I wish to share a small information with you all. I purchased a mini
bluetooth keyboard from Ebay for my android mobile. It is in the size
of an android mobile phone, very thin and light weight. If we pair it
with any android mobile, tablet or iphone or ipad, it works very well.
We are able to access the phones or tablets very easily as we use the
symbion phone. It has a USB chargeable battery, the phone and keyboard
consume less power only. Very useful to type messages and Emails.

Hope this is a good choice for the beginners of android or iphones.
Once we are familiar with the menus and options of these mobile
devices, we can use the touch interface also.

The keyboard which I purchased was GB30 mini bluetooth keyboard. You
can visit www.ebay.in / all categories / bluetooth devices / other
 bluetooth devices, for further details.

 Thank you.

[Mobile.AI] basic questions to start using xolo q700

2013-10-07 Thread Purushottam Lodhaniya
Dear all experts.
I have ordered xolo q700 after your encouragement from flipkart.com
And mostly the device come to me by today or tomorrow.
I have few basic questions regarding the same, so please guide me.
My questions are:
1 how to start accessibility without sighted help?
Is it possible?
2 how to start gprs, and configure gmail account?
3 how to copy contact from my c5?
4 what other things should I keep in mind while using it first time?
Please answer my those question with detail.
Thanks in advance…

2013-09-25 Thread Purushottam Lodhaniya
many of us are afraid from touch screen because mobile is an important
part of our life. It is not just for calling or sms.
Today or tomorro we will have to switch to touch screen phones that is
true. But what about speed? I phones are good in terms of
accessibility as i have also heard. But they are costlier. And i have
always found the discussion of android confusing.
I can type on qwerty as good as sighted person. I can type on laptop
as well. But i do not think i will be able to use touch screen phone
with that much confidence. This is my fear.
Even at this time i am chatting on whats app while typing this mail. I
think thats why we are crying for nokia.
I may sound psyco but i strongly believe that the golden days of
mobile using are over in our case.

can we use gps in any android model?
Actually i am confused because to many applications and to many keyboards.
I generally use mobile for calling, sms, mailing, gps surfing and for
reading news paper.
Will android solve my all these purposes?
I prefer chatting over talking. And i am not fond of external keyboard.
Thats why i havent bought android yet.

[Mobile.AI] basic questions for buying new mobile

2013-09-17 Thread Purushottam Lodhaniya
Dear friends,
As I wrote earlier my nokia c5 is not working well now days.
So I will have to buy a new handset.
I am comfortable with the phone with physical keyboard. But as I heard
we do not have any such option.
In that case I have only 2 options: either to buy android or second
hand nokia c5 or e5.
As I phone is out of my budget.
In this regard I have some confusion.
Should I purchase nokia or android?
Why?
If android then which is the best available handset under 10k?
Many friends have recommended xolo q700 on the list but I have read on
internet that xolo is not an advisable option to buy.
As the phone doesn’t work well after 2 3 months.
And after sell service is also not fine
Generally I use phone for calling, message, reading, music, internet,
email and gps.
In this regard which mobile should I purchase?
I hope this time I will get proper guidance from experience friends.
Thanks.

sir ji.
At the age of 55 i am thinking to try android.
Nokia simbian is out of date. So i think newer or advance user should
adopt new technology.
In my town i can easily get e5 or e6, but now when i look my children
and grand children using touch screen mobiles with solid applications
i feel that i am behind in technology.
So you should tell your friend to adopt new technology instead of
using the same old nokia.

Hi Dinesh, you can do the update directly from the handset and in that
case you will only need sighted assistance in activating accessibility
on the device. If you do the update through computer, you may have to
use jaws cursor in order to perform the update. it's not difficult
though. but the second part i.e. activating accessibility after the
update will have to be done by a sighted person.

[Mobile.AI] future of qwerty keyboard

2013-05-23 Thread Purushottam Lodhaniya
Namaskar all,
Thanks to QWERTY keyboard we can do our half of work without computer.
But now days phone with QWERTY has become distance past.
I would like to know about the future of the phone with QWERTY keyboard.
Won’t we get ever phone with physical keyboard?
I have often read on web that even many sighted users are not happy
with typing on touch screen.
We can type on keyboard without looking on the screen, and in our case
we often type messages and other things without listening talks.
But we can’t do the same with any touch screen handset.
Can we?
I really wonder why phone manufacturers are not considering this issue.
Please discuss what is the future of qwerty keyboard?
Thank you

[Mobile.AI] expert advise needed

2013-05-22 Thread Purushottam Lodhaniya
Namaskar friends,
As you know I am thinking to buy a new mobile handset.
The cost of my mobile should not be more then 1 in any circumstances.
Yesterday my friend advised me to go for android in stead of nokia.
When I asked him about model, he informed me that I should buy Samsung chat.
He said that Samsung chat is only phone comes with keyboard.
All other phones are only touch screen devices.
He advised me to buy only Samsung phone.
In his observation Samsung is the best in terms of accessibility.
Now I need your expert advice.
Which mobile should I purchase?
We have only 1 phone with keyboard, while in touch screen we have
plenty of choices.
So friends please help me with few suggestions.
Thank you very much.
