Re: [Mobile.AI] Urgent help needed with dialer in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
bluetooth keyboard is the only solution at this time. The other way is some app that allows braille input. So, you use three fingers of both hands the way you do on a brailler. The top left screen can be used to input dots one two and three. The other side for dogs four five and six. This makes it difficult in places with noise and it also makes the whole process very slow. On normal keyboard we are sure which number we are pressing thus dialing becomes very fast. Talking dialer was good in this respect that where ever we touch we know that point is 5 and then with practise, we can actually dial number without confirming on each number through audio feedback. We must think how can we have a system on touch screen that can help us dial or type without the need to listen that our finger is on correct place of number or alphabet. Thoughts welcome. Above the number you have the dial button. it is imaged as number 23. above the number 3 you have backspace button. it is imaged as number 84. If you find any better dialer don't forget to mail. G. Re: [Mobile.AI] Have you received the android mobile?
I believe that if the list can suffer the advertisement for the phone, it can suffer the disappointing experiences relating to it. The moderator was touted as a person behind the idea of this phone, I don't see a reason for him to be harsh on people who bought this device because Harish's name has been often used by the seller of the phone. Re: [Mobile.AI] Accessible Phone from Persion Technologies for 10500, who order before this saturday:
Dear all. I joined the list to get some feedback on this phone. When I had a conversation with kiran on phone, he said that some people are already using this phone the archives of this list didn't help me with any feedback from people who are already using this device. So, is someone already using this phone? If so, how does it compare with other android phones with jb, the latest upgrade? Personally, I am completely sold out to iPhone. Yet I would like to support individuals and businesses concerned with accessibility features. Besides, it is good to know other platforms too. The cost seems to be much affordable than other android phones with similar features. I will appreciate any reviews of this phone from accessibility point of view.
