as when we type on keyboard we just need to swiep and when we reach
our desired carecter we need to lift our finger and that carecter
gets type
i think your friend will be trying to tab the carecter twice and so he
will be lifting his finger twice and  as the same carecter gets
selected twice
tell him to just lift his finger and not to tab twice in keyboard  on
any carecter

actually, above 4.0 keyboards, you don't have to double tap to type
anything. so, just keep sliding finger till you find a perticular
letar, then just you lift the finger thats it

Dear friends,
A friend of mine from Pune has recently bought the above-referred phone.I am 
writing on his  behalf.
 His problem is as followes.
The phone is behaving properly on the main screen, as in single tap for 
selection and dubble tap for activating etc.
However, when he goes in to contact and starts typing, that time it behaves 
like single tap for typing. So, wherever he is touching, its getting typed. Its 
not letting him feel what he wants to do.
Can anybody throw some light on this issue or suggest something to him.
He says he's got nobody out there at his place to guide him.
