For GPS, I tried an app called Around Me yesterday which was very good.
And for  television Channels, IndiaTv Pro is a pretty awesome app.

Yahoo app is highly accessible and searching on it is very good but
some have i am getting a feeling that it is lacking on voice
recognition capabilities. i am unable to get good results with voice
input as i am getting especially with Google and Siri.

11. List recorder for best recording quality and organizing them.
12. Muxica a wonderful music app.
13. Ring tone maker for creating ringtones for IOS devises.

15. iTube a very good Youtube app.

17. iBooks for reading apple books
18. vizWiz, an app where if you take a picture of an object and share
to social networking or to web workers they would tell us what those
objects were. a very handy app for identifying sachets, medicines Etc.

have also heard from other lists that prizmo is another very nice app for 
scanning and reading documents.
