Re: [Mobile.AI] Using Google now
Hi, responded to a wrong mail so posting it again in case one misses that one. Appologies for traffic increase. In Google settings, you should find "Google Now", and TB should say "On/Off" switch. Turn it on if it is the other way. Now, there only you would find "Voice". Activate it and set the language (bydefault it uses system default). The next option is "Speech Output" and it must also be on. Scrolling further will take you to "OK Google Detection", Activate it and see if it is turned on and if not please do turn it on. If this still doesn't work, then you are one of those unlucky people like me for those Google has still not fixed this bug with latest TB and Google app, the OK google doesn't work. If you are not so kean about updates, then uninstall all updates to "Google" app. Please note that you need uninstall updates to "Google" app only and not to any other app such as Google+, Google Play Music etc. and it should work fine as it does on my MotoG2. Once you install the update to "Google" app, the OK Google detection doesn't work. However, Android1 phones are doing good with updates installed to Google app and with latest TB. Re: [Mobile.AI] Using Google now
Hi, In most phones running KK and above, Google Now can be activated by just saying "OK Google" from the homescreen. When you hear a beep, ask it to do want you want such as, Call Micle, Text John that I won't be coming tonight, Launch Gmail, Rmind me to call my wife at 8PM, Wake me up at 6AM etc. To turn on Google now, go to settings>Google settings.
