Hi sir,
Stock is unmodified virsion of android. where customised is generally
found in all the phones of samsung and sony which is customised
according to their needs. stock is better because it is designed after
keeping accessibility in mind but customisations are not made while
looking towards accessibility.

Hi Aruni,

Yes they are, if you enable touch and explore option. one thing
though, that i have seen a little inconsistency in announcing the
icons. some times it will, and some times it wouldn't. i think that's
the issue which is with talkback, which is not yet been resolved, even
in the latest update.
Thanks,

2013-01-11 Thread Ajay Minocha
Hello Bhavesh,
I guess if a phone has stock android then, it is mentioned in it's
specifications. Ishita, stock android means the unmodified virsion of
android which we find in some tabs and nexis series. samsung phones
may have some unlabeled screans but stock android doesn't have any one
of them. talk back can work more efficiently in karbon as compared to
samsung galaxi chat. because stock android is not customised. The need
for stock android is more felt by advance android users. Basic users
may not feel any inaccisibility in galaxy chat as well. It depends on
you. if you just want to use your phone for basic functions then, go
with galaxi chat because typing is much easier. But if you are a teck
geek type of person who loves to play with new softwares and other new
functions then, go with stock android.

Could you please guide me as to where i can read about getting
 started
using this phone? as i have 0 knowledge of using android.
Also could you please tell me if gellybean upgrade is already
 available for this phone?
If not then what all customizations i should do to this phone
 settings
 to make it more accessible?
Are there any users of this phone on the list?

 Thanks a lot.

 Hi Dinesh,

I just purchased samsung galaxy s6012 music phone on wednesday. I
 am
pleased with it's performance. I am really not sure, whether the
android ICS has been customised on this phone, but i got all the
accessibility options in this phone, including for blindness, such
 as
talkback, touch by explorer by default. in addition, there are
accessibility options for other disabilities, like mobility,
 hearing
impaired etc. However one factor, which worries me, is that the
 volume
of the music is not satisfactory as per my point of view. the
 talkback
volume is very good, and can be heard in crouded places as well. i
 am
not sure whether you know, but keep in mind, that it is a fully
 touch
screen phone, except home, volume, and music buttons. it is good
 look
wise too. overall, I think it is a nice low budget phone. i am not
sure whether it will get JB update in future, but it is mentioned.
 If
you need more info before purchasing it, feel free to contact me.
 my
 cell no: is 9029059211.

 Thanks,
 Bhavesh.
