I have only one keyboard I.e English India keyboard. There is an option 
system default, but it has been disabled as eng India is my system default.

When you look under language and input, there is 2 different google keyboards.
One is google indik keyboard and the other one is google english india or us.
Select that one where talkback says deafult keyboard. You are good to go.

Hi,
I agree to this suggestion. As far as the password issue is concerned, I 
would use any other keyboard for typing passwords till the issue is 
resolved. The Google keyboard update has some useful features which 
increases typing speed significantly. TalkBack speaks the predicted word 
automatically which makes typing easy and quick.
One other issue I find with this update is that we can not delete more than 
a character by long pressing the delete key. This feature should be restored.

The new google keyboard is very good to use. We can use headphone to
type password. It will correctly read the key we touch and the key
typed in the screen. I use this method while typing password.
