2015-03-17 Thread Anirban Mukherjee
Friends,

thank you for your responses. i use battery doctor and get very good
results out of it. let me give you the details of today's usage and
you might be able to figure out whether the battery usage is something
worrying or not. since morning till afternoon, the data was not turned
on and i made only a few calls. i found that my battery was at 89%. in
the evening, i turned the data on and went through the few news apps.
after working for about an hour, it came down to 52%. so, do you think
it is rather worrying, or, normal?

looking forward to your responses, Anirban Mukherjee

I've tried the reset option but the problem hasn't resolved. I've
replaced the phone with Flipkart but still it's the same problem which
was there in the previous phone.

Hi,
Ashik,
Yes, Battery Doctor is freeware. It may have advanced battery
optimization options, below is all I use/know about it:
trickle charge - Battery Doctor, after your phone has finished
charging 100%, lets the phone charge for about ten more minutes. This
charge is called trickle charge and is offered by battery Doctor. This
additional trickle charge increases the battery life.
battery optimization - There is a comprehensive battery optimization
screen in Battery Doctor, where you can disable the unwanted
features/apps running, to increase your battery life.
battery time remaining and time remaining for complete charge -
Battery Doctor also shows the the time the battery will last, and if
its charging, how much time will be taken for a full charge.
Thanks.

Hullo friends, I'm using Moto G 2nd generation since a month or so.
Since quite some time after upgrading to Android L I'm facing a very

screen "headphones disconnected restricted access changed" I don't
know what's the reason. Please help me if possible.

Hi,
Though I use my home Wi-fi and not mobile data too often, I do know
its inevitable for the battery to drain quicker when Data Usage is
enabled. The enabled option consumes significant resources and thus
consumes more battery.
You cannot avoid this additional battery drain, but you can increase
your overall battery life by using battery saver apps, one of which Is
Battery Doctor, which I use. I like Battery Doctor, but cannot compare
it with other apps in the same genre, since haven't tried others
myself.
Reading and applying tips of general battery saving related articles
could also help. I would assume such articles/guides would be readily
available and in abundance on the vast web.
Thanks.

I am also using moto g, my handset doesn't get heated too much.
Actually it is not the data which is responsible for heating and
draining the battery of your handset, but certainly there may be few
app which consume lot of data and the power. Check whether some heavy
apps are running in the background, such as, facebook messanger, true
caller, any news app etc.
Simply kill those app and monitor the drain of the battery.

Re: [Mobile.AI] strange issue in moto G gen one

2015-03-16 Thread Bhavya shah
Hi,
Though I use my home Wi-fi and not mobile data too often, I do know
its inevitable for the battery to drain quicker when Data Usage is
Thanks.
