Re: [MMouse]: the statistic of people who listen to indie rock
umm.. ive only been drunk once in my life (and im not planning to do it again) and i used to be a semi-pothead but ive quit for now and i stopped following all professional sports like 4 years ago but i still kinda dig the sports themselves (except football) and i played basketball kinda for the first time in years a few days ago.. oh yeah i tripped last weekend if were keeping tabs on that too.. it was lotsa fun but i doubt ill be doing it again anytime soon.. hey why havent my teachers given us midterm grades yet? sheepie At 08:31 PM 2/13/99 -0500, you wrote: Well I know I don't like sports and I too have been stoned all week to celebrate my grades on the last midterms. So that is two for and no against. i've been wondering that myself...or rather, the number of MM fans who do. i hope you realize the statistical fallaciousness of taking a random sampling of MM fans and applying it to the rest of indie rockdom. especially given the subject material and nature of MM (i.e. how many songs about drinking they have...not to mention various amphetamines); but, all this logic aside, i'd love to count myself among those who tokes and drinks--in fact, been drinkin' seven and seven (seagram's 7 and 7-up, in case ya didn't know) and hitting the bong all day. in celebration of finishing midterms and the maryland vs. unc game. which, since we (or at least two of us) are on this off-topic topic, how many people here actually like sports? i wouldn't figure many, but i've been suprised in the past.. Re: Re: [MMouse]: the statistic of people who listen to indie rock
this is vaguely on topic: i used to smoke a lot of pot. Like, i was stoned or two years straight. A lot of my friends seem to think music sounds better stoned. i dont. i think it sounds worse. any thoughts? karina
Re: Re: [MMouse]: the statistic of people who listen to indie rock
i used to think hiphop beats sounded better stoned, but then i realised i could actually get something out of the music sober, as opposed to droopy-liddely bobbing my head and thinking "mn... this is pretty cool..." but i doubt being stoned would do much for indierock. sheep At 04:05 PM 2/14/99 EST, you wrote: this is vaguely on topic: i used to smoke a lot of pot. Re: [MMouse]: discography.
You're totally right, I forgot both those (but have them both...0. The Project Echo is "Duke's Up" from the Blue Cadet Three 7", the yoyo comp is a bad live version of that bad song Dirty Fingernails. That show was awful, I know, i was there.. I have all that stuff..none of it is really worth compiling. [MMouse]: Re: Digest modestmouse.v001.n270
i personally dont know how finding any sort of relationship between messing with your head and indie rock listeners could help anyone do anything but no, no drugs, no alcohol; straight all my life

[MMouse]: help w/statistic
hmmm.i believe there are a few hidden messages to be heard w/a clear head...from my experience. used to over-smoke buddha, but quit. i still drink though. there are so many options to choose from. and music sounds good to me all the time. if i don't have music on i get Really tense while i'm UI. tee hee, that's my contribution. *Starbelly* icq: 29410682 this is vaguely on topic:i used to smoke a lot of pot.
