greetings young lovers,
just got back from seeing tom snooze and nicole "niceass" kidman in eyes
wide shut..anyone worried about kubrick topping the shining or clockwork
orange, need not worry here.

i can't believe all the noise surrounding thisthe live sex scenes are
digitally altered by sticking a black shapeless figure (guy in cloak)
directly in front of the sexthose effects are not very special.

i heard that if you ask quietly the movie theatre owner will refund yr $8 or
whatever and throw in a box of jr. mints
save yrself the trouble and go see something like mystery men or drop dead
gorgeous

oh yeah ( alternate title: thumbs way down)(mouth wide open)(wallet left
empty)

a couple years ago i found a barkmarket album in a free cd bin at Crutchfield
(or some place like that). i don't think i even listened to it, and by now
it's probably lost in the nether regions of my basement. if i can find it
i'll give it a listen, it didn't seem very interesting at the time.

zack.

So, I know I'm not the only one who was unfortunate. I was unable to grab the
Japanese e.p. off the net last time...and wasn't cool enough to get it from
K...so, I was wondering if anyone was willing to buck the system and put
those songs back up on the ol' internet again? Screw Epic, right? Screw the
man, right? Right? Please? OR you can send them to me in an e-mail...or...

Thanks for you help.

Just thought that I would run by a CD that I purchased recently that is
really growing on me. It is Chevelle's "Point #1". Many of you might be
familiar with it and if so let me know what you think. It is definitely a
lot harder than most Modest Mouse, but quite beautiful at moments. It
sounds a lot like Far which is another group that everyone needs to
checkout if they havent heard of them. Unfortunately Far recently broke up
but they do have a few CDs out there which are really worth listening to.
If anyone would like to go further I would reccomend Quicksand and/or
BarkMarket or even Porch (Todd Huth, origional guitar player of Primus'
band.) Well, that's enough but be sure to check out Cevelle's new one if
no one has.

wa...check this out from colin at k's mailorder:

I'm even more sorry this time, but it turns out we won't be getting any more
of
the CD. The songs will be on their record for Epic though.

all of you that somehow managed to hook up with one, i am insanely jealous
rite now. and i'm sure it's gonna take like nine years for them to put out
a record for epic. blah.

I thought the movie was absolutely brilliant. I have come to understand I am
in the minority, which is okay. However during the movie there was alot of
sighing and complaning from the audience which disturbed my viewing. Anyway,
I think alot of people made quick judgements without allowing the film to
take them where it was going. There are many things in the film which are
just plain stupid all by their lonesome, but they all add up to..well, it's
just brilliant. I must also say Nicole Kidman has an incredibly beautiful
