Re: [MMouse]: "Faggy" as a term of endearment
hey russ, how was the music tapes show wednesday night? I couldnt go...i was working. But I was at that Beaulah/apples in stereo show too...I thought beulah was fucking amazing. I'd never heard them before that...I was actually more impressed with them than with the Apples. call me crazy. and by the way...about that Jeff Buckley Live at the Sine CD...I think they have it at newbury comics. www.newburycomics.com And yeah...it is amazing. But everything he did is brilliant. *mer* NP: spain...she haunts my dreams In a message dated 7/30/99 10:20:23 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: << ahh did they play any of the more hardcore stuff like April fools, homos, out of the mist? whos sucking on grandpas balls? i think if i went to see the frogs i would just stare in amazement. but they are playing in boston this weekend and im not going. but thats just cuz i just went to boston twice this week to see beulah, apples in stereo, shannon wright, music tapes, thimble circus, and aden :D >>

If anyone wants to listen to something that is sure to bring a tear to your eye, you must find a copy of Jeff Buckley's Live at the Sin-E. It is pretty hard to find seeing as it has been out of print for a while and every distributer I have checked out are out of copies. I was fortunate to find a copy after a long hunt, but it is findable and only about six or seven dollars. If anyone is a Jeff Buckley fan and does not have this in their collection, you better get hunting NOW. Live at the Sin-E is one of the best live recordings I have ever heard. The last two songs, Je ne sais pas la fin, and The Way Young Lovers Do is sure to get anyone choked up if that is what your after. None the less, an incredible recording and an incredible loss to the music industry. Thats All! toDd HouLEtTe [EMAIL PROTECTED] nmc.uoregon.edu/~todd

[MMouse]: saddest song lyrics
everytime anyone mentions sad songs i always think in the back of my head that there are all these songs that arent getting mentioned. so im going to try my best to pull the saddest song lyrics out of my ass. "Five guitars, a constellation without stars If the symmetry's uneven, how can we see straight? Oh listen to the words you can't say There's a shadow that cloaks every sound What is it about my birthday? Everything gets turned around Listen to the music your heart plays Record it, and write it down Everything is seen at least two ways: >From the clouds and from underground" --"five guitars" by kleenex girl wonder "when i was seven my father said to me but you cant swim... and i never dreamed... of the sea again" -- "bathysphere" by smog "on the day that i forget you.. i hope my heart explodes" -- "twin human highway flares" by the mountain goats the entire song "goin nowhere fast" by beck (off freshmeat and old slabs, not the banjo story version) is sad as hell most of the stuff by geoff farina today or tomorrow by karate "people tell me its a sin to know and feel to much within i still believe she was my twin but i lost the ring she was born in spring but i .. was born TOO LATE blame it on a simple twist of fate" -- simple twist of fate by bob dylan eh.. thats all i can think of right now. oh wait gold heart mountaintop queen directory./gold heart festing moon directory and liars tale by GBV woop and oh yeah.. i found this page.. its kinda funny http://members.aol.com/nhennies/bandaminute.html they sum up indie bands in a single sentence the sentence that describes modest mouse is "retarded boy singing pixies songs" heh. not true but funny. ok i go now ruxx On Fri, 30 Jul 1999, monkey Vs. dinosaur wrote: > the saddest line in any song i can think of is ". . .goodbye, said the > hero in the story. it is mightier than swords, i could kill you, sure, but > i could only make you cry with these words." from belle and sebastian "get > me away from here, im dying" > i get shivers when i hear that. > > cap'n ben A. > >
