[MMouse]: godspeed S.F. tickets?
Anyone have any idea when tickets for the two godspeed you black emporer! dates at the Great American in San Francisco go on sale? I already checked Ticketweb, tickets.com, and Ticketmaster without luck. Any help appreciated, Jay.
[MMouse]: MM Fillmore shows
Hey, just thought I'd drop a line to let all the Bay Area kids know that the Modest Mouse Fillmore dates went on sale yesterday morning (wednesday). I think we should start some kind of campaign to convince the Mouse not to book Ticketmaster venues-- 2 tickets at $15 each coming to a grand total of $43.05? Maybe I'm just no good at the whole math scene, but that seems a little warped to me. (An old complaint, but unfortunately the circumstances still warrant a complaint.) So what's the verdict on the openers: the black heart procession mirah and the microphones ? Jay.
[MMouse]: Les Savy Fav : 3/5
Hey all, I've been trying to find the other Les Savy Fav album, "3/5", and can't find it in any record shops. I shoulda got it at the MM show, but I didn't have enough kizash for that and a MM t. So any idea where to find somewhere to order the disc online, or any good record shops in the Boston area other than Newbury Comics that will surely carry it? CDNow is backordered, so that doesn't help. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jay.

[MMouse]: an extra Boston ticket?
Hi all, I know I've posted this like 3 times already, so please forgive me. But you know how it is-- I really need a ticket to see MM and Les Savy Fav at the Middle East on sunday. Please help me out if you can! I am completely desperate. I'll do anything for your extra ticket. Please! Jay [EMAIL PROTECTED] And all you Bostonians should catch Joseph Arthur at TT's on thursday. For reals.
[MMouse]: desperate Bostonian plea!
Hello everyone, I've tried this a couple times already, so please forgive me once again. I need a ticket to the Boston show on 21 May! I must see MM again and Les Savy Fav for the first time! Please help me! Even if you're trying to make a profit by selling a ticket, tell me. But just remember that scalpers burn in hell, or anywhere else if you're not a hell-believer. Please! Thank you for your time, over-and-out. Jay. [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Altho I hate scalpers more than almost anything in the world, I really need a ticket. So let me know if you happen to have one! Please? Jay [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[MMouse]: music in the VW Cabrio commercial
List! I need your input again... this time I'm wondering about a particular song: In the new Volkswagen Cabrio commercial, where twenty- somethings are driving around under the moon and stars at night, who sings the song used in the ad? It sounds real folky, with a male vocalist and acoustic guitar. Ordinarily, I wouldn't even ask, but since VW is notorious for using songs from real musicians and the song sounds so good, I need to know. Any help greatly appreciated. And thanks for the Pinback suggestions earlier. It really grows on you, eh? ...end of transmission... Jay!
[MMouse]: insert vote here
List. I'm looking for a new addition to my music lineup, and I thought y'all might be rather helpful. Any suggestions for something in the vein of Belle & Sebastian, Joseph Arthur, and Elliott Smith (who was great at the BotH in San Francisco wednesday night)? ...over and out... Jay.
[MMouse]: Piebald
I'm going to see Piebald in Boston pretty soon, but I was wondering what they're sound is like. Somewhere on the web they were classified as hardcore. Is that about right? Any comparisons/contrasts with: AFI / Good Riddance / Refused ? Help Appreciated. j.
[MMouse]: something completely different...
Just curious... what does one call the kind of hat that Isaac often wears during shows? It's a wool beanie of sorts, stretched over a brim in the front. And how does Isaac play the guitar with his mouth? You know during Trailer Trash, he holds it up to his face and seems to be playing it with his voice. Any idea what I'm talking about? Information appreciated. jay "get a fist-size ice cream cone at Dick's"
