Re: [MMouse]: gatsby
I also hated the Great Gatsby (being Canadian i don't really care for historical pomp) anywho... is there anyone else who thinks that wordy disgustingly drawn out literature is dying in the wake of Bukowski? After i read mr.Bukowski's work i think "real" literature was ruined for me for the rest of my life. Get to the fucking point already! As light hearted as possible Jeff. Re: [MMouse]: anyone into GODspeed........
Sigur-ros fucking blow my god damn mind. Has anyone mentioned Silver Mt. Zion yet, or whatever it's called, it's the violin and viola players from GYBE's side project..very tasty, like the red snapper. JEFF Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
[MMouse]: off topic: Apples in Stereo/Essex Green
Last night i witnessed something that was most unimpressive... The Apples in Stereo live. Am I alone? Was it just me who thought that they should chill out with the distortion and learn to croon? Horrible sound at the Horseshoe in Toronto surly didn't disuade my intrest. Did it? It was loud, slow, and boring (accept for robert schnieder, who reminded me of doug marstch in that "please be my father" sort of way). The Essex Green opened to the same result. It just sounded sloppy and boring. Not anything I would expect from the same Elephant 6 camp of live shows as The Olivia Tremor Control, Beulah, and Neutral Milk's boisterous mayhem. I am walking in a daze trying to remember one good moment. But i can't. Damn... Jeff. Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
[MMouse]: i have the new modest mouse as well
I think that what has been said as "selling out" is the most idiotic statement known to man. Production essence isn't selling out. I can't see but one song on the new album surviving on radio. That being Tiny Cities Made of Ashes. Besides that (of which i love) the record is amazingly produced (in an almost home-ish lips-ey way) of which i think is a statement of maturing as a band. They wanted to see what the studio could do... they got itbeauty. Fuck man if your looking for Long Drive... it's not going to happen twice. I HAVE TO SAY I LOVE THE NEW MOUSE WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL!!! JEFFERY PEERS Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

[MMouse]: Oshawa Ontario
I come from a suburb of Toronto called the Shwarockcity (Oshawa). In the past few months the scene here has been buildin' steadily once again and there are actually people playing music instead of spead up polka beats with distorted guitar ("punk" rock), don't get me wrong i love punk, but not sloppy lagwagon wannabees. Grade is from up here and anvil, oh yeah and the whole sonic unyon crowd is just around the corner. There is a small indie collective here but it's mostly just friends. We all get together at various cafe's and play and shit. It's very friendly and very tight. I actually like something. Wow. Jeff. __ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

I think that is the very deffinition of plagerism. why don't you do the right thing and write a new story using the characters. Don't cop out, even if it for school. Jeff. __ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
