Gainesville's local hometown heroes, LESS THAN JAKE return for a rare show
this Saturday April 22, 2000. Doors are at 9:00 PM and tickets are a measly
$10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. Stereo, Polline and Alkaline will
be opening. If you have been living under a rock and have never seen this
band, be prepared for an outrageous stage antics as well as one hell of a
show.
Seven Natinons - April 26 - 9:00 - $5/$7 If you are into celtic music you
will not want to miss this show. Think of a hipper rock version of the
Chieftians.
Jennifer Nettles - April 27 - 9:00 - $6.00 - Formely of Soul Miner's
Daughter, Jennifer will be playing some new orginal material as well as
covering some of her stuff from her previous life. The Gabe Dixon Band out
of Ft. Lauderdale will be opening
Phife - Tribe Called Quest & Scratch - The Roots - April 28 9:00 - $6.00- Two
legends of hip hop come together on solo projects. If you saw the roots at
the Band Shell this Sunday, come check out they man behind the music in a
more intimate setting. This show promises to be one to remember.
