[MMouse]: new album info in AP

1999-11-28 Thread adam clay

hi all.

saw something about the new modest mouse in AP. said a lot of the songs
are shorter and (gasp) radio friendly. it came out really dark even though
thats not really what they were shooting for. all of the instrument tracks
are done, so i guess its all vocals then we get record in april. check out
the magazine if you can. had a full page picture and all. later gators

[MMouse]: what i read...

1999-11-23 Thread adam clay

hi all..

any of you here read any don delillo? really good stuff. i've only read
about 3 or 4 though, but i assume its mostly all the same. he's pretty
consistent. been into a lot of poetry by billy collins too. i dig the
funny stuff, sue me. also milan kundera makes me smile? does any of this
make sense to you?

[MMouse]: ebay makes me laugh..modest mouse

1999-04-21 Thread adam clay

anyone think its funny that some people out there are willing to pay
almost twice the actual cost of a 7inch on ebay
(http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=92623806)
for something that can be purchased directly from the record label? i
might just but 20 of them and start a business.

cheers
