Re: [MMouse]: DC shopping

I've been to NOW ! Music and Fashion and they don't have a huge selection of
music yet and their vintage clothing is way expensive. I definitely
recommend DCCD.

[MMouse]: DC shopping

"he doesn't even naturally exist so you better start
shakin'"

Hey RUXX,

GET OUT OF MY BRAIN.

On the way to work this morning, I listened to Edit
the Sad Parts twice, then Exit Does Not Exist. And I
was thinking, Ruxx and other boot traders, why don't I
have any live versions of THAT song??? I need more
'96 tapes, I want to hear Long Drive songs live.

I thought it was "even actually exist," toots.

Re: DC
The place rekkid store, in my opinion, is DCCD on 18th
St. It's in the Adams Morgan district, about the 2300
block. Great selection, you can listen to anything in
the store before you buy it, and the staff has always
been helpful to me. For a better vinyl selection and
other assorted accessories including t-shirts and
footwear, check out Smash on M St. in Georgetown.
Much less helpful staff, but still found a few gems
stashing in their racks before. Other than that, I
always enjoy Tower Records, down on 21 St. a block
from Dupont Circle. When it comes to most larger
independent releases (is that an oxymoron?), they are
well-stocked. I usually have better luck there than
most places, and they often have some harder to find
zines stashed in the back of the magazine rack.
