[MMouse]: Morrissey

2000-01-30 Thread Romas Kudirka

Mr. Morissey has always charged a lot for tickets to his shows. I saw him
play at UCLA about 8 years ago, it was the show were there was a riot
afterwards. Tickets were $35 and he played for only 15 min (although
there were extenuating circumstances which caused this). However, I
talked to someone who worked for the show and he told me that Morissey was
only slated to play for something like 30-45 min!!

I lost a lot of respect for that guy after that show.

I always prefered "I wear black on the outside, 'cause black is how I feel
 on the inside".

If anyone can think of a more purely gothic line in a song, I'll give you a
 nickel.

Ahh, but it's not really gothic, because Morrissey sung it with a sense
of humor...

For me the lyric that best captures goth is "Lucretia my reflection,
dance the ghost with me".

ok. i have a new theory. a believe God created the universe on december 27,
1979, the day i was born. everything is centered around me. on this day
god also created everyone else, made them various ages, gave them memories
and created everything that else that existed on dec 27 1979. but i am the
 center of the universe.

This isn't a new theory at all. It's called "subjective reality".
