Has anyone had the relatively unpleasant chance to hear the new Jets to Brazil, Orange Rhyming Dictionary? It's that band whose fronted by Blake Schwarzenbach (Jawbreaker) and with Chris Daly (Texas is the Reason). I was quite let down.

All I know is that these guys played a free show last year here in Albuquerque and everybody who went (not me) totally fell in love with them. I keep meaning to buy the album. Go check 'em out and tell me what I missed. Bye, JamesL At 07:07 PM 5/6/99 -0700, you wrote: >Can anybody tell me about the black heart procession(?). I have to agree -- while KILAS is not my favorite BTS album, I definitely think it's really really good. And I love that Sam Coomes is playing on "Broken Chairs" -- when I saw 'em a few weeks ago and they played this, I realized how much I appreciate the keyboards in there. Sam is cool... And to whoever said nice things about the newest Smog album -- yeah, ok -- there's the best album of this year so far. I love the back cover, too. first off, it's really nice to see this list come back from the dead. i thought for sure after that nasty serious of emails, and the resulting silence on the list, nobody would be left to write. but here y'all are again, striking up relevant and interesting conversations. also, as has been said, mentioning the internet needn't be a sin 100% of the time. true, it's one of those topics that's SO easy to fuck up in a song; MM, however, hit the nail on the head. and to whomever said he/she doesn't listen to the new BTS all the way through at home: what!!!???!!??!! as with all of BTS/halo benders shit, the last laugh is the best half. anybody that doesn't dig on broken chairs (the last track) and the subtle keyboarding of sam coomes (what a great guest to have) lacks a soul. i'd still agree that tnwwl is their best, followed closely by pfno, but kilas ain't BAD. much like LCW isn't as good as this is a long drive..., but still rocks. relative perfection, once achieved, is difficult to keep up.
