The Cherry Poppin Daddies, Green Day, Garth Brooks/Chris Gaines.

Another interesting topic is bands that have done the exact opposite of
sell-out...Branch off in musical directions against the grain of popular
culture despite the threat of million dollar losses. Radiohead comes to
mind. No Doubt too. Even Rage. Nothing but respect for those bands,
although I don't like No Doubt or Rage.

Most people are way off base when they say a band is selling out.  But I
think it would be a fun contest to come up with a list of the most
sell-out bands of all time.  My vote would have to go for Metallica.  I
