The lightening was amazing.it felt like a dream, the whole movie kinda felt like a bad dream. But yeah, I was on the way to falling asleep in the movie. It just felt so drawn out. Like when Nicole Kidman would speak, it seemed like it would take her 10 frickin' minutes just to finish a sentence! Stanely Kubrick was working on, or had this film in mind, for almost 30 years. I just expected a lot more from the brilliant director that Stanely Kubrick was. Nancy

That was not pee wee herman that played the desk clerk. I'm not certain of his name, but I do know that he played in some movie with Minnie Driver, Circle of friends? he played the guy who was taking money from minnie driver's family in circle of friends and he in "romey and michelle" he played the guy who was like obsessed with lisa kudrow's character and when he came back for the reunion he was a millionaire i guess. paul r. and him look kinda alike. the first time i saw him in circle of friends i almost thought he was paul reuben. long live peewee! - amy
