Forgive me for the Beavis/Butthead-esque reply, but it's truly
because some people suck.

On a related tangent, personal experience has shown me that if you
actually muster up the energy to ask somebody why they're doing something
that sucks, they won't be able to answer you. If you ask somebody that's
especially sharp, you might see their blank stare break if only for a few
seconds while they do their best to contemplate whether or not what they're
doing is stupid, but then they either have a stroke or continue along in
their suckiness. Either way, you lose.

I don't really understand it either, but if I ever do, the solution
might be my ticket to finally getting rich off of the internet. It's bound
to happen someday.

[MMouse]: about d.c. last night [the good and the bad] + pics.

2000-05-24 Thread madflowr zine

i am not going to bother with the set list, because
i can't remember the whole thing. they did an encore,
yes. regardless. i took pics with my digicam and if
you'd like to take a gander i put them up in a directory
at http://www.underworld.net/~madflowr/mouse/

they played 'all night diner'. and that was spectacular.
something not spectacular: when some asshole jumped up
on stage and proceeded to jump off it and land on my
head. i fell backwards and my head hit the floor. i
was so incredibly pissed at this guy already since he
got some boys [and a few girls even] riled up enough
to start moshing in a pit.

i think expressing yourself by dancing is great. pogoing
is great. singing along. finger pointing. yelling out
requests. whatever floats your boat, that's great. but
when you start hurting people for no reason, that is very
far from great.

especially if someone expresses that they are in misery
because you are doing something that directly affects
them [aka moshing] and you KEEP on doing it. that's just
plan wrong. if you're on the list i really sincerely hope
that i hurt you while you were on the ground, because you
really hurt a *lot* of people by moshing into them when
it was clear that they were not liking it one bit. you
could have moved over a bit so as to not inflict pain upon
someone who does not want to take part in it.

if you're at the show tonight [wed], i hope you stay away
from me. i love the mouse and i got there pretty early last
night so i could be up front and then you had to go and give
me bruises and make the show bad for other people. hope
you're happy.

sorry list. the show other than that was great. but it's
hard to enjoy when the human pinball keeps whacking up
against you.
