Anyone know any good shows in Philly over the next week or around Christmas 
and New Years?  I haven't heard anything, but I'm in Boston, so I'm just 
checking. Of course, the promise ring plays there the night before I come 
home. ah well. 

first of all how does one meet other
indie rawk boys/girls? at shows? certainly not in public we are all hiding
in our homes listening to records and emailing eachother. of course it is
going to be awkward!! indie rock is more or less built around isolation, 
there is no way that the "dating scene" would be really happening.

i must agree.
im new to the baltimore area and i cant seem to find people like myself.
its a sad and lonely world.
