Radiohead, May 1995
Spiritualized, November 1995
The MakeUp and Dub Narcotic, August 1997, in San Francisco
Blur withe the Rentals, January 1996

Can't think of any more right now...

There have been a few "best" shows.

 Radiohead - 04/11/96 - The Trocadero - Philadelphia, PA
 Tool - 11/23/96 - Electric Factory - Philadelphia, PA
 Rah Bras - 11/21/98 - Stalag 13 - Philadelphia, PA
 Sleepytime Trio - 05/22/99 - Stalag 13 - Philadelphia, PA
 Milemarker - 07/10/99 - Stalag 13 - Philadelphia, PA
Roger Waters - 08/17/99 - Star Pavilion - Hershey, PA

Also worthy of mention is Dan Bern, who I've seen a little over 15
times and have gone to admittedly fanboyish lengths to see him wherever
he's playing on the East coast.

i felt the need:

best shows i ever saw:

modest mouse with 764 hero and murder city devils at bard college on
november 5th 1998. any old time list members remember i wrote up like a
4 page review and posted it (as my first post). theres nothing like
whenever you see fit with both bands followed by isaac's threats to kick
some kid in the audience's ass and the entire stage being lit on fire
more than once while the spencer from MCD sings doin the cockroach.

flaming lips and cornelius at the recent "Music against brain
degredation" tour at the Roxy in boston. cornelius = truly amazing, and
well.. the lips.. they just have this crazy mystique about them. plus i
was new to the roxy so the whole thing was pretty wild. plus i locked my
keys in the car before that so i had a wacky adrenaliane rush trying to
get them out. if youre laughing at that and going "dork" then youve
pretty much just nailed my personality. :D

Neutral Milk Hotel at the middle east in march of 98. an upstairs show
and my first time seeing NMH, they did a gd job of kicking
fuckin ass.

and finally.. the Music Tapes at the Flywheel in Easthampton, MA. they
played with Aden and Thimble Circus, but the music tapes are definetly
the most eccletic rockin live show i ever saw. cant go wrong with
chicken wire percussion and 7 foor tall metronomes. pure genius imho.

radiohead, so i cant really complain), and elliott smith and lou barlow at
the green street grill.

I can NOT believe i missed this. Thanks for rubbing it in.

I always get confused..i thought that the middle east was a venue in philly?
And constantly wondered why it was never listed in the city paper..is there
a middle east in philly?

oh yeah, it was horde. damn, i have built quite a reputation for myself of
not knowing what the hell i'm talking about. I went to horde, warped tour,
lollapalooza, and it's all a blur now...

hey where was this? and are you sure it wasnt horde?

the shrooms add the heroine)

It's a tough one, but I saw morphine at the warped tour two years ago.
they
played for what seemed like forever and it was an outdoor show which was
cool. they were on the 2nd when they started their set there were a few
people checking them out but by the time they were done the area was
packed.
they played their tritar and even treated us to some poetry.

i might have enjoyed it more because i ate some funky mushrooms on my
  pizza, but i dont know.

I saw godspeedyoublackemperor! for the first time not too long ago and i
might just have to say this was the best show I've ever seen. Something
about them live is so magical - has anyone else ever seen them? i think
i'm a better person for witnessing them perform.

Heck yeah that's hard to narrow down, especially if you've hit up more then a
hundred.
A show that stands out as one of the best I've been to is a World Party
concert 3 years ago.
Hm... and every Havalina Rail Co. show I've ever seen, definetly.
And every Danielson Family show too. Yeah, those are the best bands to see
live.

best shows i've seen:
this is a hard question, but right now i'd say:

Jeff Buckley @ the trocadero in Philly in 95

REM the other night in Boston

Pearl Jam in New York many years ago(three and a half hour show--a rite of
passage for me, definitely)

Any Elliott Smith show I've seen.

The Rolling Stones at the Fleet Center in Boston last year.

and of course, joan of arc at the middle east. not the BEST show, but seeing
tim kinsella live was s satisfying. :)
