[JOB SEEKER]: Looking for consulting work
Hello, mod_perl folks, I've recently decided it's time to go the consulting route and I'm looking for consulting gigs. I have quite a bit of experience with mod_perl, and Mason especially, plus database design, application design, and much more. I'm open to short or long term projects, including design, coding, code review, and training. I have a spiffy web site at http://www.houseabsolute.com/, which has more details on what I can do, as well as my resume and a list of some previous clients. Outright gifts of cash, bearer bonds, brand new cars, or other valuables are also welcome. -dave /*=== House Absolute Consulting www.houseabsolute.com ===*/
[JOB-SEEKER] mod_perl consultant; can travel to you
Hello, I'm looking for consulting software development work in the Perl/mod_perl/DBI/Oracle/MySQL/Linux/Web area. Anything Open Source is a plus! I'm based in Maryland Baltimore/D.C. area. I'm flexible and willing to travel to your location for a period of time, if needed. More info about me here: http://www.davideous.com/statement_of_capabilities.txt Thanks! David
[JOB SEEKER]: Give me a job, please ;)
Hi, all, I just wanted to make a point of saying that I am available for work of a (mod)Perl-ish nature. I have a lot of expertise in mod_perl, Mason, databases, and Perl in general. I can add two and two. I can bake a cake. I can leap over _extremely_ tiny buildings in a single bound. Larger buildings may take more bounds. My resume is at http://www.urth.org/resume/. I'm interested in contract or full-time employment but I am not willing to relocate. I live in Minneapolis, where I'm currently enjoying the snow and below-freezing temperatures. Thanks, -dave /*== www.urth.org we await the New Sun ==*/
[JOB Seeker]
Hi all, YAJS (Yet Another Job Seeker)? Laid off from my last company Im looking for a Perl/mod_perl job preferably in the Bay Area, but may be willing to relocate as well. My resume can be found at mehryar.com/resume.txt and dont let that little stint at Microsoft bias ya, I was actually doing mod_perl at Microsoft :-) before they decided to go the C# and .NET way. cheers, -Mehryar --- ... with proper design, the features come cheaply. This approach is arduous, but continues to succeed. ---Dennis Ritchie

hi all... well, with this economy and all I guess it's a bad time to look for a new job, but... things here at covad are taking a turn for the worse. In fact, covad stopped using mod_perl some time ago, and I no longer have the internal corporate sponsorship and support I once had. Thus, stuff like the weekly digest is probably going to come to an end after only a year (yes, the first "issue" covered the week of Septmber 24, 2000) due to my situation here at work. anyway, if anyone has room for a decent mod_perl developer and doesn't mind me working remotely (unless you are near Philadelphia), please drop me a line... --Geoff __ Do You Yahoo!? [JOB SEEKER] mod_perl expert for hire
I feel bad that, with the dot-bomb, all we see now are job seekers, not job adverts, but here I am, in need of some work to keep food on my table. My skills are fairly well known here. I'm an expert in XML and mod_perl. I built the take23.org mod_perl news and resources site. And I'm the developer of AxKit. I'd be especially interested in AxKit and/or XML work, but I'm interested in all comers. My full CV is available on the AxKit.org site under "examples", for those who don't know my work. I'm mainly looking for contract work, 3 or 6 months preferably, but I'd be willing to look at something permanent if it was a really good company. Oh, and I'm based in Scotland, but have a leased line and permanent IP at home. -- /||** Founder and CTO ** ** http://axkit.com/ ** //||** AxKit.com Ltd ** ** XML Application Serving ** // ||** http://axkit.org ** ** XSLT, XPathScript, XSP ** // \\| // ** mod_perl news and resources: http://take23.org ** \\// //\\ // \\
[Job Seeker] Looking for a job
Hi all, I've recently been laid off from my dot-com and am looking for a new full-time job. I have several years of perl, as well as mod_perl, programming experience. My resume and more information can be had at http://www.drewtaylor.com/ Thanks. Drew Taylor mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.drewtaylor.com/
[JOB SEEKER]: Me
My current contract is winding down and rather than rotting away at home I think I should try to get some sort of job. I know Perl and mod_perl very well, and Mason even better. I'd love to work on something large scale, and it goes without saying that I want to do Perl. I live in Minnesota but I won't be there much until mid-April so telecommuting work is preferred. If you have a quick contract in Pittsburgh for me (where I'll mostly be from now to April) that would work too. If my resume doesn't demonstrate make it clear, I am not a visual designer ;). However, I am quite good as an application designer and developer. My resume is online at http://www.urth.org/resume/ Of course, if someone wants to pay me to hack on Alzabo or Mason, don't be shy! -dave /*== www.urth.org We await the New Sun ==*/

[JOB SEEKER] Full Time Telecommuting
Hi all... Well, I think the time has come for me to leave my current position. Most of my formal work stuff for the past year is covered my NDAs, but a brief resume can be seen at http://resumes.dice.com/gost_guru And, of course, there is always my CPAN stuff and list postings to serve as references :) I live outside Philadelphia, PA and really cannot relocate, so telecommuting is preferred. I will, however, consider occasional travel to client sites if the job is a good fit. Anyway, hope this wasn't too obtrusive... --Geoff __ Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
