MP3::TAG
Hello folks, I am working on a perl module to read/write ID3 tags of mp3 files. I know that there exists already two projects to do this, but I didn't like the approach of them, and both are not able to the things I expect from a mp3-tag module. So I write my own module, which I would like to register at CPAN. At the moment it can be found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/tagged . The latest version allows read/write access of ID3v1/ID3v1.1/ID3v2.3 tags, and comes with pod documentation and a Makefile.PL (by ExtUtils::MakeMaker). My name is Thomas Geffert and I can be reached at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I would prefer the CPAN user-ID thogee . = Module name: MP3::Tag , together with MP3::TAG::ID3v1, MP3::TAG::ID3v2 and hopefully others to follow DSLI-Entry: bmpO Description: Read, write & change ID3v1/v1.1/v2.3 tags of mp3 files = I hope, that is information is sufficient, otherwise do not hesitate to send me an email. Looking forwad to hear from you, kind regards Thomas Geffert

CPAN registration
Hi, I've written Perl extensions to the Ogg Vorbis audio format and ao audio playing libraries and would like to register them on CPAN. I've posted these on the Vorbis devel mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and there has been some interest. My info: Alex Shinn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://eyeofdog.org/foof Preferred user id: FOOF Modules: Ogg::Vorbis bdch Interface to Ogg Vorbis audio format library Ogg Vorbis is a fully Open, non-proprietary, patent-and-royalty-free, general-purpose compressed audio format for high quality (44.1-48.0kHz, 16+ bit, polyphonic) audio and music at fixed and variable bit-rates from 16 to 128 kbps/channel. This places Vorbis in the same class as audio representations including MPEG-1 audio layer 3, MPEG-4 audio (AAC and TwinVQ), and PAC. Ao (should this be Sound::Ao or something?) bdch Interface to ao cross-platform audio library ao is a cross-platform audio library which takes raw PCM data as input and can output to oss, esd, alsa, irix and solaris devices, or wav files. Thanks, Alex
Namespace question
Hi, I'm developing a module to easily support the `delegation' design pattern. How does Class::Delegate sound?
