Re: [Mono-dev] Linux ARM: finally_block_ending_in_dead_bb.cs failure
Hi Rodrigo, > This finally test is not supposed to work on ARM as the require block guard > work was not done there. Okay; thanks for the clarification. I will add a note mentioning this test to the following bug, as both failures are visibly related to the same, missing functionality: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=19136 Cheers, -D -- http://crosstwine.com tel: +49 89 2189 2939 cell: +49 174 3489 428 “Strong Opinions, Weakly Held” — Bob Johansen ___ Mono-devel-list mailing list Mono-devel-list@lists.ximian.com http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-devel-list

This finally test is not supposed to work on ARM as the require block guard work was not done there. -- Rodrigo On Fri, Jun 20, 2014 at 3:05 PM, Damien Diederen wrote: > > Hello, > > The finally_block_ending_in_dead_bb.cs runtime test fails on one of my > current Linux/ARM builds: > > $ cd mono/tests > $ mono finally_block_ending_in_dead_bb.exe; echo $? > Could not abort thread final state 4 > 4 > > Before I spend too much time investigating, can you tell me whether the > test is supposed to pass on (non-Android) ARM Linux? [Mono-dev] Linux ARM: finally_block_ending_in_dead_bb.cs failure
Hello, The finally_block_ending_in_dead_bb.cs runtime test fails on one of my current Linux/ARM builds: $ cd mono/tests $ mono finally_block_ending_in_dead_bb.exe; echo $? Could not abort thread final state 4 4 Before I spend too much time investigating, can you tell me whether the test is supposed to pass on (non-Android) ARM Linux? A bit of googling seems to hint that it isn't: * http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23941478/mono-3-4-1-isnt-compiling-correctly-on-the-raspberry-pi * https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=735901 More generally, is there a list of tests which are know to be broken on various platforms and/or architectures (besides Xamarin's Bugzilla, but search did not return any results for that test)?
