I'm very interested in writing multiplatform apps with QT, so I've
tested Qyoto a few weeks before. It works great with linux, but I'm
struggling with the smoke library in windows. I've tested with the
 mingw gcc compiler 3.4.6, 4.1.2 and 4.2.0, and havent got a smoke.dll.
With the msvc2005 compiler I got a smoke.dll, but the compilation of
qyoto complains about a lot of missing references.
Does anybody know how to compile smoke and qyoto within windows, and
 can write an howto?

 Greetings Maurice

Hello Maurice,

have you also already tried the pre-release package - download:

http://cougarpc.net/qyoto/index.php?option=com_remositoryItemid=56func=fileinfoid=4
I don't work with windows but under linux the latest package is working
pretty well. So maybe it solves the problems you'll have compiling the
  stuff under windows.

[Mono-list] SUSE 10.1 Installation of mono via yast is not working

2006-07-13 Thread Alexander Reiter
Hi all,

on the mono installation for SUSE 10.1 webpage is written:

= This distro supports installing packages via YaST. Add the following
= installation source to YaST:
=
= * http://go-mono.com/download-latest/suse-101-i586

but when I tried to add this source to yast I'll recieve an error message
that the target could not be added. I know that there have been lot of
problems with the package system -- in my case the system is running
with all the latest patches, so this can't be the problem.

Any hints are welcome. Of course I can install the whole thing manually
but if it would be possible via Yast would make the thing automatically.

 C# Cookbook
 Programming C#

 Shared Source CLI Essentials

I'm new on C#+Mono, not on Linux :) and I *don't have* any pc with

[Mono-winforms-list] DateTimePicker running on Linux SuSE 10

2005-10-17 Thread Alexander Reiter
Hi,

is the DateTimePicker component working with mono under Linux ? I've
installed the
latest SuSE 10 mono packages. When I run the application, for example the
DateTimePicker
demo from the winforms examples, the component is not expanding to a real
DateTimePicker
window - more or less nothing is happening.

   Any comments are welcome.

best regards
