It would obviously get more difficult for me, if we'd go with Google/MtnView. I could help organizing anyway. In Zürich, I would participate with a probability as near as possible to 100%... for MtnView I'd have to think about it a little longer =) (though the interest is equal, the logistics is more complex and travel eats more wasted days) I'm still open for other possibilities and locations. FOSDEM seems attracting, too. Maybe we should now try to get a DevRoom anyway? Who is planning to attend FOSDEM? If we get at least three developers together, we could organize a user focused event. Anybody up for it? I'd love to be there. This doesn't necessarily mean I *will* be there, but as far as there are planes with *decent* times and prices, I will. More infos soon. Hi, Lapo Luchini wrote: It seems real neat, the main problem is probably that it is only 2 days long... especially and after a flight from around the world it is probably better to have a longer event..? Yeah, that seems troublesome for a summit like last February. Especially because there are also lots of other attractive projects. IMO, for FOSDEM it seems to make more sense to have a more user focused event. Or presentations and talks or whatever. Thomas Keller wrote: Is there a general interest of doing another summit next year - maybe again in January/February? You know I couldn't attend to the last / first one this year, but I'd really like to make it this time. But since I'm even more broken than last year all I could afford is something in Europe. Opinions? I would love to take part of it and, well, if it's in Europe it's certainly a big plus... I don't know if I could manage a 2-week leave from work-life-and-everything two years in a row =) Lapo ___ Monotone-devel mailing list Monotone-devel@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/monotone-devel
