A topic that's been brought up before and no doubt, will be raised again
 and again.

As fabulous as shoes are (yes, they truly are!), I'll take posters over them
any day.

[MOPO] Minstrel Show Posters

2008-12-22 Thread Chris Cloutier
After a MoPo member set the proposition of there being more male than female
movie poster collectors,
I challenge that there are more white than black poster collectors as well. At
least in America.
Nevertheless, the Minstrel Show posters are often collected by wealthy African
Americans. See this
unique collection I had recently.

Re: [MOPO] POLY BAGS/CARDBOARDS FOR COLLECTIBLES

2008-12-22 Thread CK MacLeod
The lowest price you'll achieve will be if you purchase the cardboard in
large size and quantity - for instance at U-Line (uline.com) - and cut it
yourself to whatever preferred dimensions. Second lowest will be if you
make a quantity purchase of the pre-cut cardboard. If you need very large
quantities in dimensions other than those offered - i.e., for thousands of
photos and/or posters - you might also inquire about having them custom-cut.

Try
http://www.uline.com/BL_1851/Corrugated-Pads-Large
and
http://www.uline.com/BL_1853/Corrugated-Pads-Small
and http://www.uline.com/CustomerService/ContactUs_menu.aspx

U-Line also has a very wide selection of bags. And their customer service
is top-notch.

so Bass did the art, but someone in the production department
designed the layout - possibly, and most likely with maybe a little
