[MOPO] FA: 799 rolled one-sheets close soon; lots of the very best of the past 30 years, around half $5 or under, lots of real steals

2012-12-23 Thread Bruce Hershenson
It is clear that a *LOT *of newer collectors are primarily interested in
one-sheets of the past 30 or so years (from the movies *THEY *grew up with)
and some of these posters have been seeing slow steady growth in prices
over the past few years. But there are *LOTS *of them which still can be
purchased for quite low prices (often under the cost of a reproduction!).
In our auctions ending today, we offer a wonderful selection of these, and
because we know that many collectors are rightfully worried about the
chance of accidentally (or not so accidentally!) being sold a reproduction
as an original, we not only guarantee these to be originals, but if one you
buy from us somehow * EVER *proves to be a repro, even many years later, we
take it back for a full refund, something no other auction does)!*

*Three times *EVERY *week we auction hundreds of items that sell for low,
low prices (we actually sell lots and lots of items for $1 and $2, and
around half of all that we auction goes for $14 and under, and those are
pretty evenly spread between $1 and $14). But Sunday's *799 *rolled (or
formerly folded) 27x40 27x41 one-sheets (all guaranteed to be
originals, including
an excellent collection of 29 Star Wars posters!), closing *THIS
AFTERNOON*(not at night, like our Tuesday and Thursday auctions), on
*December 23rd*, represent *REALLY* incredible values, and that includes a
lot of *really good* items, and yet many of these are currently languishing
at low, low, prices! *I just looked over the prices on these just about to
end items and there are many insanely low prices. MAYBE THIS IS BECAUSE
THIS IS A TWO WEEK SUNDAY AUCTION AND SOME BIDDERS DON'T REALIZE TODAY IS
THE DAY THE AUCTIONS END!*

With just *9 *hours to go, these *799 **rolled one-sheets* include 18 items
with no bids (2%), 176 items at $1 or with no bids (22%), 231 items at $2
or less (29%), 276 items at $3 or less (35%), 331 items at $4 or less
(41%), and 377 items at $5 or less (47%)!***

2012-12-23 Thread Richard Halegua Posters + Comic Art

Hello Folks.

First of all, I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy Holiday season.
My apologies to those who celebrate Hanukkah that I failed to send
you our wishes for you last week, but you can be certain that we hope
you got lots of gifts on those 8 days and lots of family happiness.

To those that celebrate Christmas, please give yourselves those you
love the gift of love and happiness and to everyone we hope you have
a great New Year 2013.

Also, please note, this is the week of the year that we do a little
less work over at MoviePosterBid.com and our auction this week will
be a little lighter than usual - maybe 100-200 items total - with
Pressbooks leading the charge.

thanks as always and we hope that 2013 will be a great poster
collecting year for each and every one of you

Happy Holidays

Hello Folks.

First of all, I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy
Holiday season.
My apologies to those who celebrate Hanukkah that I failed to send
you our wishes for you last week, but you can be certain that we
hope
you got lots of gifts on those 8 days and lots of family happiness.

To those that celebrate Christmas, please give yourselves those
you
love the gift of love and happiness and to everyone we hope you have

a great New Year 2013.

Rich

I would like to add my best wishes to you all. I hope you have a safe and happy

Incidentally, it's Christmas Eve now in Australia - very hot and humid and many
people here on the Gold Coast will be spending a good part of the day at the
