[MOPO] FA: 999 non-U.S. lobby cards & folded non-U.S. posters with many Polish, German, Russian, & Australian end soon & HALF of them are still $1!

2013-06-18 Thread Bruce Hershenson
We have* 999 non-U.S. lobby cards & folded non-U.S. posters with many
Polish, German, Russian, & Australian*** at auction, and there are just 12
hours to go before they start to end
*TONIGHT
*at *http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html* *Tuesday, **June
18th*. *If you like posters from any of these four countries you will** be
amazed at the great selection we have from each, and just how affordable
the vast majority of them are (astonishingly, with just 12 hours to go,
HALF of these are at $1 or have no bid!).*

Note that we are auctioning the last part of a *WONDERFUL *collection
of *Polish
posters* we were consigned, and you can see just those 200 posters by going
to items 9m179-9m378!

Further note that we are also auctioning the fourth part of a
*WONDERFUL *collection
of *Russian posters (with a few lobby cards and stills)* we have been
consigned, and you can see just those 130 items by going to items
9m049-9m178!

And we also have a very large group of *Australian 1sheets, mini poster, LC
sets, and of course daybills* and and you can see just those 329 items by
going to items 9m379-9m670!

And we also have an *EXCELLENT *group of *German posters and lobby
cards*and and
you can see just those 292 items by going to items 9m379-9m670!

And finally, note that there are 48 non-U.S. posters and lobby cards
from *France
and 7 other countries* at the start of the auction!

I just looked over the current prices on these just about to end items, and
the prices on many of them are really hard to believe! With just over 13
hours to go, the *999 non-U.S. lobby cards & folded non-U.S. posters with
719 Australian daybills* include 171 items with no bids (17%), 510 items at
$1 or with no bids (51%), 531 items at $2 or less (53%), 575 items at $3 or
less (58%), 620 items at $4 or less (62%), and 656 items at $5 or less (66%)
!

Of course, once you get *OVER* just $5, you start hitting lots and lots of
"better" titles, but an awful lot of those are currently at
*VERY*reasonable prices, far under what some of them have sold for in
the past
(the ones we can find any record of selling in the past!) including:
9m592 ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE German '69 George Lazenby's only
appearance as James
Bond!
9m364 BLUES BROTHERS Polish 27x38 '83 really cool different artwork by

9m049 WAR & PEACE 24 English Russian LCs '67 Sergei Bondarchuck, 3-part
Russian version,
Tolstoy!
9m974 STAR WARS Aust daybill '77 George Lucas classic sci-fi epic, art by
Tom William
Chantrell!
9m406 CITIZEN KANE 8 German LCs '62 some called Orson Welles a hero, others
called him a
heel!
9m520 GATES OF HELL German '83 Paura Nella Citta dei Morti Viventi, Fulci,
zombie horror
art!
9m197 BROKEN ARROW Polish 23x33 '57 different Roman Cieslewicz art of
Native American
woman!
9m009 SON OF GODZILLA 8 Japanese LCs R73 Kaijuto no Kessen: Gojira no
Musuko, battling
monsters!
9m372 NOSFERATU THE VAMPYRE Polish 27x38 '80 Kinski & Herzog, cool
Zaradkiewicz vampire
art!
9m227 FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE Polish 23x33 '65 Anthony Mann, Sophia Loren,
cool Wiktor Gorka
art!
9m985 TO PLEASE A LADY Aust daybill '50 art of race car driver Clark Gable
& Barbara
Stanwyck
9m051 AKVALANGI NA DNE Russian 26x41 '65 Yevgeni Sherstobitov, Datskevich
art of man over
map!
9m764 DEMENTIA 13 teaser Aust daybill '63 Coppola, The Haunted & the
Hunted, horror stone

9m465 BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI German '58 William Holden, Alec Guinness,
David Lean
classic!
9m358 WORLD OF HENRY ORIENT Polish 23x33 '65 Peter Sellers, Angela
Lansbury, art of

9m768 DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER Aust daybill '71 art of Sean Connery as James

McGinnis!

Re: [MOPO] Our auctions today will close four hours later than usual, due to a very rare programming error

2013-06-18 Thread Bruce Hershenson
It's funny. We e-mailed all 8,400+ active registered bidders to let them
know of this major error on our part, and *NO ONE* complained, and we
received exactly three replies that read as follows:

1) "Bruce - You are forgiven cause you are the best and most ethical in the
business."

2) "Love you guys. Thanks for being transparent with your users. This is
why I stick around."

3) "You've just proven that you're human (not that that was in doubt);
you've handled a potentially messy situation with grace and honesty. As one
who's not always met that high standard, I'm all the more impressed."

HALF the items at

urge you to check them out one last time before they close by going to *
