Oh, hell no. This stuff is mother’s milk to us Americans. We watch reservoir

Re: [MOPO] restorer question

2014-06-02 Thread Susan
They are a new company. Chelsea use to work for John at Poster Mountain. She
and some other artists have started this company in my area. I am about 5
minutes from John and they are about 20 minutes from me. I am going to give
them something to try them out. I am very happy with my restorer that I use
now, but because they are close to me, there may be an occasional item I need
quickly. So, I will let you know the results.

Re: [MOPO] Louisiana films

2014-06-02 Thread Phillip Ayling
In terms of the US film industry, Hollywood is no longer the place where
movies are made. It is where deals are made and money is counted. Meanwhile
various states, provinces and countries are in a never ending race to the
bottom underwriting an industry that has no interest in building
infrastructure in their locales. At the same time, investment in long term
middle class jobs doesn't happen, because there is nothing sexy about a
politician getting a photo op with a factory owner as compared with a movie
star. My politics for the day for MoPo.

Hi,

How are you doing?

ANTHONY BEAUCHAMP is one of my favorite photographers to have shot MARILYN
MONROE. His photo shoots were so real to who she was and reaked of pure
sensuality. This week I have an image that was taken for a popular men's
magazine in the 1950s. It was taken on a shag rug that was placed on a table
next to a railing that was shaded out by the magazine. These shots,
authentic to who Marilyn was, are some of my favorites taken of her.

I have some great original vintage photographs up for auction this week -
below are previews.
