I was familiar with NIGHT ALARM but not THE DEVIL COMMANDS. Had to look
that one up. Nice graphics on both. I have seen an example of NIGHT ALARM
in person and I have to say it's a pip!

PS-By the way, THE DEVIL COMMANDS one sheet was the very last poster I sold when i ran out of money in the mid 1980s. An unopened copy of Nintendo’s Super Mario 64 has sold at auction for $1.56 million.

Heritage Auctions in Dallas said that the 1996 game sold Sunday, breaking its previous record price for the sale of a single video game.  Two days prior, The Legend of Zelda sold for 870,000.

 

 

Now that I have been working for an auction house for 8 years,  I always admire collectors and the diversity  it can represent:   Historic letters by the founding fathers,  rare first edition books,  Coca-Cola,  baseball cards,  NASA ephemera, photography, Hollywood... all a reflection of America (and also the worlds)  past.  So much a reflection of the times, footnotes that reflect most of the time, genius, artistry……greatness.  And these collectors are actually curators of history keeping their possessions with great care to pass onto another generation who with education and passion will continue carrying the baton of who we were,  how far we’ve come and the importance these artifacts represent

 

But  !@!!$@$%!! **!^#&^ video games?    Dammit,  I got old fast.

WowWe had a ton of video games and consoles in the house (so many years ago).. 
all thrown away… I wasn’t even into collectingthen..I think back fondly on how 
many hours I watch the kids play these games…Particularly Mortal Kombat.. even 
in the mornings before breakfast and I wouldchime in FINISH HIM eat your 
breakfast and get your ass outside so you don’tmiss the school bus

WowWe had a ton of video games and consoles in the house (so many years ago).. 
all thrown away… I wasn’t even into collectingthen..I think back fondly on how 
many hours I watch the kids play these games…Particularly Mortal Kombat.. even 
in the mornings before breakfast and I wouldchime in FINISH HIM eat your 
breakfast and get your ass outside so you don’tmiss the school bus

million.
 
Heritage Auctions in Dallas saidthat the 1996 game sold Sunday, breaking its 
previous record price for the saleof a single video game.  Two days prior, The

Now that I have been working for an auction house for 8 years, I always admire 
collectors and the diversity  it can represent:  Historic letters by the 
founding fathers,  rare first editionbooks,  Coca-Cola,  baseball cards,  NASA 
ephemera, photography,Hollywood... all a reflection of America (and also the 
worlds) past.  So much a reflection of the times, footnotes that reflectmost of 
the time, genius, artistry……greatness.  And these collectors areactually 
curators of history keeping their possessions with great care to passonto 
another generation who with education and passion will continue carryingthe 
baton of who we were,  how far we’ve come and the importance theseartifacts 
represent
