[MOPO] Best 2006 Acquistitions
Hi, All, I've acquired a few nice pieces over the past 12 months, but I suppose at the top of the list are an original Angels With Dirty Faces US One Sheet (Not the one auctioned on eBay a few months ago that supposedly had Leo Gorcey's face painted in) and an original Us three sheet on Beast From 20,000 Fathoms---(still looking for an original US poster on Petrified Forest and an original US 6 Sheet on The Day The Earth Stood Still, though) Ahnever satisfied... This year was great for me because I picked up a Grand Hotel US OS. Yes, it was expensive, but I now only need Wings, Cavalcade and Cimarron to complete my AA Best Picture OS collection. Woohoo! Wow, Doug those are great. I wish I were in your league. One of my bests was a one-sheet of Madame Sans Jane to go with my 3-sheet and a 3-sheet of Lady of Burlesque (my hubby got it for my birthday!). Re: [MOPO] Best 2006 Acquistitions
Aloha MoPo, I have to agree with Rick, it seems I am never satisfied no matter what I aquire. I've been very fortunate this year. I finally found an un-restored AC meet Frank style B HS, and an AC meet Frank OS R56. And an invasion of the Saucermen HS. My holy grail, now on my 10th year of searching is an Abbott Costello Buck Privates INSERT. (I have a mint WC to use in a cash/trade deal) that way the seller will still have a piece on the title. I will pay a finders fee! Hi Mark, On my new website http://www.universalhorrorposters.com/ You can list the AC Buck Privates in the wanted section if you like. The site is almost done.
