Does anyone have, or ever seen, a DS English Patient regular style OS? This is the version with Fiennes standing against the gold background...not the kissing style...not the review style. It's just Fiennes on the left and credits on the right. I've seen it a few times, and seem to get more out of it each time. But no question, it's a polarising film - there is not much between the love it or hate it camps, those that find it a fascinating story of unconditional love and those that think it's a cold and sterile film. For some reason I have yet to fathom, it certainly seems to press some buttons in people, and not in a positive way for them. Perhaps they knew someone who went flying with a corpse.
