Franc, I saw Davy as the Dodger on B'way twice myself. He was teriffic. And the show, "The Monkees," was quirky and entertaining...dated today but still fun for youngsters. This obviously dates mebut my first date was taking a girl named Patty Gilbert to a Monkees concert. My mom gave us a ride because I was too young to drive. On the same tour, believe it or not, Jimi Hendrix opened for them...but not in Phoenix, where I lived at the time. Lots of great tunes written not only by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, but Neil Diamond (I'm A Believer) and John Stewart (Daydream Believer) as well as by others. R.I.P. Davy.
