No, just told "forties" but I always figured it would have been post WWII and 
that they used the R'42 art as their model.  Not sure how well films were being 
distributed in the war years.  However, as Rich noted, it could have been the 
'52 as well.

The one sheet from Argentina that's said to be original says that the 
production company is "Enterprise Films", not RKO---maybe I'm out of the loop, 
but I've never heard of Enterprise Films.  It would lead me to believe even 
the "original" poster is probably a 40's re-release.  As for the one that 
sold for $1200 on eBay, I'd be willing to bet it's more likely a repro than

To be fair, it does also have the same art as the US R'42.  The buildings are 
different in the R'56, so it's not that one for sure.

The word printed before ENTERPRISE FILMS is "Presenta."

So that must be the local distributor that handled the later re-release of
the film.

On the ebay ad, there arent even any dimensions given for that poster. It's
Looking more and more like someone got taken here.

What I cant figure out is why a reproduction would have the credits blacked
out at the bottom. Any ideas?

I just hope that someone didnt get taken for 1200.00, considering that
the ebay poster is missing the credits that the legitimate reissue
should have in the lower portion of the poster.

The one sheet from Argentina that's said to be original says that the  
production company is "Enterprise Films", not RKO---maybe I'm out of the loop,  
but I've never heard of Enterprise Films.  It would lead me to believe even  
the "original" poster is probably a 40's re-release.  As for the one that  
sold for $1200 on eBay, I'd be willing to bet it's more likely a repro than  
anything else.

The actual artwork itself on both of these posters is identical. What strikes 
me is that for a supposed 1st release poster (the ebay copy), there are no 
production credits at the bottom (or anywhere else) and no RKO logo.

The second version has production credits at the bottom, but then is missing 
that small  logo and the word "Presenta" at the upper right. Because of this
