I found the Fry list by grade level when I did a web search. You may want to look at the QRI - 4 (Qualitative Reading Inventory - 4th Ed). It is has grade level word lists. 25 to a grade. I have found this a good indicator. There are 2 ways to score - 1)read it within 3 seconds and 2)student decodes. You do both at the same time so you aren't doing 2 separate reads. THEN, you can always follow up with the passage read (if you want) which is similar to DRA.
