[mou-net] Red-throated Loon & Lesser Scaup, Park Point this morning
This morning before work, I found a breeding-plumage Red-throated Loon from the lake-side of the Sky Harbor Airport on Park Point. First time I've ever seen this species in breeding plumage, as they are often in non-breeding plumage when they arrive here in their small numbers! At noon today there was a sora feeding just east of the viewing platform at the Old Cedar Bridge in Bloomington, Hennepin county. There were also several marsh wrens very busy building nests, gathering material from old cattails.
