[mou-net] Crosby Park, St. Paul, waterfowl

There were some new arrivals among the usual waterfowl on the east end of
the big lake today:
Am. Wigeon, Gadwall, Ring-necked Ducks, BW Teal, and N. Shoveler.
Also present was a Brown Creeper along the south shore, and numerous Fox
sparrows near the roofed bench at the intersection with the river trail.

[mou-net] Red-bellied Woodpeckers

I noticed that several people have been reporting Red-bellied Woodpeckers.
I have had a breeding pair that have been in my yard for several years.
They have successfully nested up here.
