Re: [mou-net] [mou-rba] Duluth RBA 6/18/15

2015-06-19 Thread T Walls
I saw a scoter at Agate Bay, Two Harbors, on 6-16. I identified it as a
female White-winged Scoter. I will try to send a photo when I am able to
access it.

[mou-net] Loggerhead Shrikes in Dodge County

2015-06-19 Thread Henry, Michael R., M.D.
I refound the loggerhead shrikes in Dodge county this morning at the SW corner
of 240th and 680th about one mile north of where they were seen yesterday.
There were at least 2 fledglings begging and an adult feeding them. The
fledglings are flying quite well and moving a lot. Also of interest in mostly
flat Dodge county was a Peregrine Falcon perched on an electric pole at the
corner of 240th and 700th.

see the link below for a video of the Black-backed Woodpecker nest at the
Orr Bog Walk in northern St Louis County. The Canon 70D and 400 mm lens
gave great views. I wasn't as close as it looks.
