[mou-net] The Saint Paul Sora
A resident of the area has been seeing the bird for more than a month. He thinks it has a broken wing. He has tried to capture it, intending to take it to the Wildlife Rehab Center, but couldn't get close enough to it. He has seen it flutter straight up about 16 inches. It has been feeding in lawns, but will probably not survive much longer. Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html

This morning there were 2 Black Scoters on Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis. They were close together and were seen at rest, diving, and flying. [mou-net] Brownsville?
Contemplating a trip down the river on Saturday ... anything happening down in Brownsville, or points north of there, either side? Mainly coots or are there still some interesting ducks, swans? Haven't done too much birding this fall, feel out of touch with what's where, when. Thanks much, Karen --- Karen Kraco Minneapolis, MN Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
