[mou-net] Earlier post regarding Say's Phoebe in Yellow Medicine County

2017-04-29 Thread mou
(Posted by Daniel Orr via moumn.org)

After getting home tonight and reviewing the photos I took of the bird what
appeared to be
an definite orange underside wash through my binoculars was not at all apparent
in the
photos. There appeared to be only a slight pinkish tinge but not near enough
color to be a
Say's Phoebe. I am sorry for disrupting so many people's birding day. It won't
happen again.

[mou-net] White-faced Ibises, Yellow Medicine County

2017-04-29 Thread Bob Dunlap
Around 8:30 this morning a group of us flushed up a pair of White-faced
Ibises from Omro WMA at the southwest corner of the intersection of 320th
St. and 230th Ave. in Yellow Medicine County. The birds eventually flew out
of site to the northwest. There were also 11 Black-crowned Night-Herons
that flushed but settled back down into the marsh.
