[mou-net] Pine siskins and gold finches

Have about 300 pine siskins and gold finches coming daily to thistle feeders.
More siskins than gold finches, but lost count at 260 for both species. 
More were on the ground below that didn't get counted.

Why are there so many still hanging around? I wouldn’t quite call it a flock 
but I see several every day in the trees around my house. So far haven’t seen 
one at the feeders but don’t always have an eye on the feeders.

I counted about 15 "non-breeding" goldfinches outside of Hermantown this
weekend.
