Sherburne NWR has 4 bird hikes, 4 Sandhill Crane tours (sunrise in a closed
area) and a "Wildlife Festival" scheduled this year. See

For the StarTribune I a writing about upcoming birding festivals, hikes,
classes, anything offered to the public during the coming spring migration
window to enhance the fun. I've built a list using Google. There must be events
I’ve missed. Any help in completing my list will be much appreciated.

2019-03-02 Thread Bob Dunlap
The third annual MOU Spring Birding Primer will take place on Saturday,
March 30, 2019 at Carpenter Nature Center. This event is free to MOU
members and Friends of CNC. For more information please visit the event
page on the MOU website:

https://moumn.org/2019%20March%20Spring%20Bird%20Primer.pdf

This is a great event if you're looking to learn some new birding skills,
get ideas on where to go birding, and meet other birders as well as field
experts!
