[mou-net] Scott County warbler activity
I could pretty much repeat Mary Westra’s earlier report (less the scarlet tanagers) but rather for Scott County. I’ve been birding Cleary Lake Regional Park in Prior Lake lately and the warbler activity hasn’t seemed to slow down any apart from the yellow-rumps being almost completely replaced by the redstarts. An even 50 sp. today is enough to keep this intermediate birder motivated. Guess I should say, intermediate “at best”! ;-) Richard Hunt Savage, MN Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html

It was buried in a large maple tree in the afternoon, but detected by its calling (who-cooks-for-you). If you look (or listen) for it, I suggest you start along 36th St between 26th and 27th Ave South.
