I led a St. Paul Audubon Tuesday Morning Bird Walk to Battle Creek Park in St. Paul and Maplewood this morning. We did not find any Hooded or Mourning Warblers. We heard and saw a Black-throated Green Warbler, and we heard a Connecticut Warbler. An adult male Orchard Oriole sang briefly from a tree beside the rec center parking lot before flying toward the SE part of that section of the park (along Winthrop Street).
